meatloaf in t-well?

I've just got the top of my stove working (oven gas still off)and want to try a meatloft in the thermowell for sunday dinner. Don't have any cook books as yet and need to know about times. Initial burn and miniimum total for about 2 pounds of hamburger. If not, I'll get the nesco out and use it.

Meat loaf is one of those personal favorite 'my own best recipe' type things.

I am into anything quickie so...

I take a lb of frozen hamburger, place it in a double pot, put a little Lawry's Teriyaki marinade on it. carefully pour 1 cup water on side. (sometimes I add peeled potatoes on top with cream of mushroom soup on top of that (undiluted) Snap on lid,
Cook with gas on about 15 minutes, retained heat (gas off) at least an hour, can be 3 or more...v

Didn't even know about this site and just in time too. Here's hopein' I'll never need the Nesco again.
